PIC
MICROCONTROLER
A
microcontroller is a single integrated circuit (IC) which is small enough but
containing all the integrated circuits such as CPU, EPROM program
memory, RAM memory and an Input/Output interfaces.
All
of these functions are included within one single package, making them cost
effective and easy to use.

RF Transmitter (315MHz)
- Capable transmit signal up to 100
meters range around the open area
- Wide input supply (2.5-12V)
- Small dimension
- ASK Modulation
This low cost RF transmitter can be
used to transmit signal up to 100 meters (the antenna design, working environment
and supply voltage will seriously impact
the effective distance). It is good
for short distance, battery power device development.
It has benefits of:
• Wide input supply (2.5V-12V)
• Easy to integrate (Data, Vcc and
GND)
• Device in deep sleep mode when Data
pin is grounded
• Very small dimension
RF Receiver (315MHz)
- Super regeneration design ensures
sensitive to weak signal
- Low power consumption (4mA)
- Small dimension
This low cost RF Receiver can be used
to receive RF signal from any 315MHz transmitter. Super regeneration design
ensure sensitive to weak signal.
It has benefits of:
• Low power consumption (4mA)
• Easy to integrate (Vcc, GND and
Data)
• Super regeneration design
• Very small dimension

Fyp2 - Week 7
RELAY DRIVER
- C547 transistor used as a switch for controlling the operation of the relay
- If there is voltage at the transistor base> 0.7V the transistor will be in the "ON"
- Current flows from the resistor, transistor base to ground.
- 12V current flow from the source to the collectors of transistors and thus to ground will cause the resulting magnetic field at which the relay coil's magnetic field will attract the "contact relay" from the "Normally close (NC @ OFF) to position" Normally open "(NO @ ON).
- If the voltage at the transistor base <0.7V the transistor will be in the off state. There is no current flow from the collectors of transistors to ground causes the relay Normally positioned close @ off

Fyp2 - Week 4
Intercom project will be used for residential as flats, apartments and other then the relay has been used in the main circuit.
Due to few problem I has made new block diagram for this project.

Week 7.1 : What is Intercom?
Intercom is (intercommunication device), talkback or doorphone is a stand-alone voice communications system for use within a building or small collection of buildings, functioning independently of the public telephone network. Intercoms are generally mounted permanently in buildings and vehicles. Intercoms can incorporate connections to public address loudspeaker systems, walkie talkie, telephones and to other intercom systems. Some intercom systems incorporate control of devices such as signal lights and door latches.
